Workforce Authority
The Senior Advisor to the Governor for Workforce is charged with creating and implementing a statewide strategic plan for workforce development that will address the need for reforms in workforce policy at the local and regional level. The Senior Advisor is also charged with facilitating the implementation of the Commonwealth's various workforce development and training programs across state government to ensure that services are managed, operated, and delivered with efficiency and responsiveness to the needs of both employers and employees throughout Virginia.
